The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Posted on July 6, 2010 at 1:46 AM

Riley Biers is attacked by Victoria, while she's out creating an army of newborns set to destroy Bella Swan. Back in Forks, Edward Cullen and Bella discuss the complications of becoming an immortal vampire. At19 years old, two years older than the age Edward was when he became a vampire, Bella expresses her aversion to the idea of marrying so young, though Edward refuses to turn her until they're married, and after she's had various human experiences she would otherwise miss. While Charlie Swan is investigating the disappearance of Riley Biers, Edward suspects his disappearance to be the cause of newborn vampires. Furthering his suspicions is the intrusion of Riley into Bella's room. - wikipedia

Well about three weeks before the movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, premiered on June 30th the official soundtrack came out on some effing day. Well of course I just had to get my chubby fingers on that hott action. Now listening to a new album not from your favorite artist gets some getting used to and it did for me as well but I was instantly addicted to track #4 Heavy In Your Arms by Florence + The Machine and all I can really say is the song is AMAZING. As the song title implies the feel is quite heavy and dramatic in an epicly deep way. Florence, assuming, has a very unique voice and the song just suits what I like to call "soul". I played this on repeat 103 times according to my iTunes. After about a week I decided to give the other songs a listen, well they're all pretty much okay except for that sad piece of crap "Jacobs theme" and only because he's a sad piece of crap.

I took favor towards two more songs which were Track #14 What Part Of Forever by Cee Lo Green (Played 81x) & Track #6 Atlas by Fanfarlo (Played 73x)

I never listened to a movie soundtrack before actually watching the movie, I thought it would be a weird experience; it kinda was, kinda. Hard to explain really there were some parts of the movie where I want "oh THIS song" and some parts where I was singing along to the song instead of playing attention. BUT it was fun and that's all that matters homie.

So like how waz da movieh!?

IT WAS EPICLY AWESOME COUL. Not rlly, it was alright. The movie went kinda fast pace for me and it seemed not to focus on anything really. I thought that they would focus on the fight or at least when ginger died. When you know they're not playing it big it's because there's something bigger coming and I'm sure there is. . .in breaking dawn. To me it really seemed kinda like a tv episode but even tv episodes a some moments of intense something. The whole time I was waiting thinking "this is the moment, the moment where the real drama starts, the climax" but it's like a dry orgasm, no climax. There were a lot of funny moments in this movie, and I was surprised on how many one-liners and none for the poor friend.

Vamps

Well it was really nice going into more detail about some of their backgrounds, I wish they would've showed more but with Jasper. . I just wanted to laugh. Every time he spoke I kept chuckling and being that annoying person who won't STFU. If you heard him talk you'd understand.

Bree Tanner, I soooooooooooooooooooo wanted to see more of her I wished they could've added more on the book Bree Tanner. After reading the book all I kept thinking was "who the f*ck is the red head?"

Wolfs

What a bunch of Douche-bag-ahole's, I mean Jacob, yeah him such a $#%@!!! NO MEANS NO. I was trying to explain this to my guy friend (who was siding with Jacob). He didn't understand why I don't like him and why it's not okay to be a douche and keep conflicting her relationship with Edward. First of all when someone says No, then they mean no. I was telling my friend "I don't care if you know she 'loves' you, just because she 'loves' you doesn't mean she wants to be with you." I understand she doesn't want to loose him as a friend but she also doesn't have the right to stay friends when she knows his feelings towards her. I blame them both.

The Couple

Finally they seem more like an effing couple.

In the end I'm do disappointed in this movie, I mean DISAPPOINTED. Out of this whole movie not once did they play my song. Not once, no Heavy In Your Arms anywhere in the film. I mentioned this to my brother who said they might play in the credits but I just gave the "are you effing crazy look" Everyone knows credit songs don't count. What really bothered me was that not only it was it not featured in the movie, but it wasn't even the 1st credit song! it was the second.

I think what made this a great experience none the less was being able to hang out and chill and just have an over all good time, and then watching Buck's review over and over again.

Yeah it's a love/hate thing.
